AQEIPS invites you to think, rethink and experiment on the subject of accessibility in post-secondary institutions. Whether it’s revised architectural plans, an ode to automated doors or a rant against broken elevators, we give you carte blanche!


Who can participate?

SWD members of AQEIPS. Deviens membre ici !

Quels objectifs ?  

  • Provide a platform for online content “by and for” our members, allowing them to express themselves on subjects close to their hearts and to share their experiences.
  • Encourage creativity and celebrate diverse modes of expression. 
  • Draw up a portrait of the perceptions, attitudes and aspirations of people from diverse backgrounds studying at the post-secondary level in Quebec. 
  • Produce a physical “zine”-type publication available for sale, with profits going to AQEIPS advocacy activities.

How can I participate?

  •  Include the name under which you wish to be published or specify whether you wish to remain anonymous. You can include your pronouns, as well as a social network* where readers can find you.
  • Don’t forget to proofread and include your attachment(s) (see: publication criteria).
  • Accepted formats: PNG, JPEG, ODT, DOC, DOCX, TXT, PDF, MP3, WAV, MP4, WMV, MKV

*Please be careful! Take the time to evaluate your online safety. We will only share accounts dedicated to promoting an artistic activity, not personal accounts. 

What are the publication criteria?

  • All types of media – please note that texts must not exceed 600 words. Examples: photography, painting, collage, essay, poetry, dance, song…
  • Participants agree to submit only original, royalty-free content. AQEIPS does not claim intellectual or artistic ownership of contributions submitted for publication.  
  • If relevant, please provide a bibliography.
  • Lorsque pertinent, merci de fournir une bibliographie. 
  • Content may be submitted in languages other than French or English, provided it is accompanied by a translation.  
  • AQEIPS will not correct grammatical errors, but may contact participants in the event of typos or to clarify a potential comprehension problem. 
  • All contributions will be considered, but AQEIPS reserves the right not to publish certain contributions for reasons at our team’s discretion. In the case of multiple submissions on a given topic, it is possible that only one or two will be published.
  • No content that discriminates on the basis of origin, skin color, body mass, appearance, physical or mental ability, sexual orientation, gender identity or legal status will be accepted.
