Research
AQEIPS is currently conducting a literature review on the educational and legal aspects of employment for postsecondary students with disabilities in fields related to their area of study. The project aims to identify the barriers and supports in the Quebec employment sector.
Combined with an employability survey shared with our members, it seeks to better understand lived experiences, highlight inclusive practices, and offer practical recommendations for AQEIPS, its partners, and other parties involved, to help ensure a smoother transition and equitable access to employment.
Form 1015
AQEIPS continues its analysis and monitoring of changes to Form 1015, used by the Student Financial Assistance program (AFE). By reviewing the changes in the new versions and their impacts, both current and future, on postsecondary students with disabilities, the team emphasizes the importance of the AFE clarifying administrative procedures.
It also aims to denounce discriminatory practices and promote greater transparency in the form evaluation process carried out by the AFE. This work aligns with AQEIPS’s mission to defend collective rights and to strengthen equitable and inclusive access in postsecondary education.
Porte-paroles

The spokesperson project is an AQEIPS initiative to create an inter-institutional student committee to share information, initiatives, and activities taking place at different post-secondary establishments.
In the long term, the project aims to contribute to improving accessibility in post-secondary education and to reduce disparities in the services offered at different institutions.
Recruitment for the spokesperson project began this summer, and we encourage members interested in participating in the project to register via the AQEIPS website. Your voice matters!
