Celebrating perseverance and resilience
The Quebec Association for Equity and Inclusion in Post-secondary Education (AQEIPS) has spared no effort for the past 27 years. Aware of the constant financial challenges posed by both the cost of living and the academic realities of people with disabilities, the AQEIPS team mobilizes every year to organize a bursary program that would be impossible without the help of our generous donors.
Our team is as motivated as ever. The program aims to reduce financial barriers and contribute to creating an inclusive environment where all students have the opportunity to thrive academically, while limiting the financial burden associated with their disability.
To date, the bursary program has helped nearly 300 students!
The bursary program in figures
It was with great joy and gratitude that AQEIPS awarded a total of 54 bursaries, ranging in value from $1,250 to $2,000, to students with disabilities from the DEP to the doctorate level, throughout Quebec, at this year’s ceremony on April 8, 2026.

A huge thank you to our donors, partners, jury members and exceptional students! This record-breaking year once again testifies to our collective commitment to equity and inclusion in post-secondary education. – The AQEIPS team
A wealth of unique academic paths
This year, over 300 students applied for the scholarship program. We would like to extend our warmest thanks to all the students who sent in their applications. Each letter is carefully read, and your stories continue to touch us and fuel our commitment to a truly accessible post-secondary environment. The recipients of the 27th edition of our scholarships are a testament to the resilience and diversity of our student community. We invite you to learn more about their backgrounds here.
Together, let’s continue to support every academic journey and reduce financial barriers.
Warm regards, the AQEIPS team
We look forward to seeing you for the 28th edition in Fall 2026!
