Become a Member

Active Members: Free

A member shall be considered an active member if they are a student with a disability who is or was registered in, now or within the last twelve (10) years, in at least one (1) course in a public or private post-secondary educational institution, or in professional training program (DEP), as well as a high school student with a disability enrolled in Grade 11.

An active member is:

  • Associations of students with disabilities in post-secondary educational institutions are also considered active members.
  • Following the conditions set forth in the Rules and Regulations, section III – Members – Article 9, only Active Members shall have the right to vote and apply for a scholarship.
  • Post-secondary students with disabilities who wish to remain active members of the association must renew their membership each year at no extra cost.

Individual supporting member: 5$

An individual supporting member is any individual, non-profit organization or corporation that is legally constituted and interested in the Association’s activities and that can contribute to it in some significant way.

Supporting Members: 20$

A member is considered a supporting member if they are an individual, a non-profit organization or other legally incorporated body who is interested in the activities conducted by the association and who can offer a significant contribution.

Supporting members may attend meetings, they have the right to speak but they do not have the right to vote.

Institutional Members: 50$

Institutional members are educational institutions or for-profit organizations that are interested in the activities conducted by the association and that can offer a significant contribution.

Institutional members may attend meetings, they have the right to speak but they do not have the right to vote.
