Art<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Some days, the sky is painted gold,<br \/>\nAnd every breath is brave and bold.<br \/>\nI color wide outside the lines\u2014<br \/>\nThe world alive, my thoughts divine.<\/p>\n<p>Then darkness folds in quiet storms,<br \/>\nA grayscale mood, no vibrant forms.<br \/>\nMy hands grow slow, the pages blur\u2014<br \/>\nThe hues retreat, the edges stir.<\/p>\n<p>Bipolar lives in highs and lows,<br \/>\nIn bursts of light and undertows.<br \/>\nBut art\u2014she walks both paths with me,<br \/>\nNo need to prove, no need to be.<\/p>\n<p>When mania spins its restless thread,<br \/>\nI write until the stars turn red.<br \/>\nPoems rush like winds unplanned,<br \/>\nIdeas blooming out of hand.<\/p>\n<p>Then in the hush of heavy days,<br \/>\nWhen even sunlight seems to graze,<br \/>\nI find a coloring book and sit\u2014<br \/>\nJust shade by shade, a steady wit.<\/p>\n<p>No deadlines, rules, or judgment eyes,<br \/>\nJust swirling ink beneath wide skies.<br \/>\nI lose myself in mindful pace,<br \/>\nAnd find a calm, forgiving space.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t create to show or sell\u2014<br \/>\nI make to feel, to sit, to dwell.<br \/>\nIn every line, a breath, a choice\u2014<br \/>\nA way to soften inner noise.<\/p>\n<p>There is no rubric for my soul,<br \/>\nNo need to paint some perfect role.<br \/>\nArt meets me where my cycle bends,<br \/>\nA quiet space that never ends.<\/p>\n<p>In mania, it gives me form\u2014<br \/>\nA rhythm through the reckless storm.<br \/>\nIn lows, it waits with open hands,<br \/>\nA canvas full of softer lands.<\/p>\n<p>I write because I\u2019m still alive.<br \/>\nI color just to feel the drive.<br \/>\nAnd when the world feels far or near,<br \/>\nI turn to art\u2014it keeps me here.<\/p>\n<p>Not cure nor cure-all, not a cage\u2014<br \/>\nBut how I turn each jagged page.<br \/>\nBipolar is a map I chart\u2014<br \/>\nBut healing starts through making
