For our 25th anniversary, our goal was to award 25 bursaries to 25 students with disabilities (SWD) from all regions of Qu\u00e9bec. Thanks to the generosity of our <a href=\"https:\/\/aqeips.org\/scholarship-program\/donors\/2022-2023-donors-2\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">donors<\/a>, we were able to award 35 bursaries valuing from $500 to $1500 to SWD studying at all levels of postsecondary education. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We would like to thank the members of our jury for all their hard work. For example, I am working on a research paper regarding the problematic elements of how Ontario&#8217;s and Quebec&#8217;s social benefits systems evaluate invisible disabilities. This is something I am especially passionate about as someone with Tourette&#8217;s syndrome, and I hope to contribute to an increasing call for change within these tribunals&#8217; selection processes. Further, as the recently-elected editor-in-chief of the McGill Law Journal, I have already launched a number of projects to make the Journal more accessible to readers and authors alike. These include republishing our educational materials in formats that are compatible with screen readers (and other accessibility technologies), as well as introducing plain-language summaries of our articles starting with our upcoming volume.
